Dj Matt.Li-born as Matiss Liliensteins in 1988. He started his dj career in 2004 when he had a chance to play some records at nightclub “PMK”. And he felt that he like it and this is the thing what he wants to do. At the beginning he played pop music, but he had always liked house and dance music. 6 months later Matt.Li met his first teacher – dj GOLdbERG. Matt.Li had a chance to watch dj GOLdbERG playing and it made him to train more and develop himself playing house music. And it was a moment when he said “no” to pop music and started to play only house, electro and trance music. Since 2005 Matt.Li takes his residency in nightclub “PMK”.
As a guest dj he had played in such nightclubs as “Grands”, “Kurzeme”,"BIG7" and “Club Essential”,he also took part at KNOCKOUT FESTIVAL 2008 ,where he played on EHR stage. As well he had played warm-ups at lot of parties organised by ILLEGAL DJ TEAM RIGA.
In 2009 Matt.Li took part on international dj contest „MOVIDA CORONA” and ,among more than 90 contestants ,made it up to semi-final.
In 2010 played his set at "ZZ Baltic Beach Party" on Red Bull-COCO LOCO stage(tent).
During his carrer Matt.Li played on one stage with such dj’s as GOLdbERG[TAF,LV], [Ex] da Bass[Illegal dj team,LV], Viruss332[Illegal dj team,LV], Bogdan Taran[Amber Muse,LV], Kaspar Kondrat[Club Essential,LV], Crash(aka Andre Crash)[Tasty Soundz/Latex Records,LV], Crazy Martin(aka Ali_T), Electricano[Electricano Recordings,LV] , Mr. Sam[Blackhole Recordings, FRA], Joe Le Grove [Pushca/Radical Grooves,UK], Roderic Diacano[Malta], Kolzar[Club Unlimited, EST].
