CSR Manager

Since opening in 2013, we've been trusted to print 28M+ items and grown into a team of 1,600+ employees worldwide. As we continue to grow, we're putting a greater focus on our sustainability efforts and making sure that while we fulfill our customers' ideas, we're also taking care of the planet. 

We've already made strides in our sustainability efforts: 

  • By partnering with waste management solutions in Charlotte and Mexico, we've sent 162,886 lbs (73,884 kgs) of fabric waste to recycling.
  • By changing the packaging of single-item DTG orders and posters, we've saved more than 38,325 lbs (17,384 kgs) of plastic since February 2020.
  • By reconfiguring the way we cut our all-over print products, we've reduced fabric waste from 42% to 35%. 

We're looking for a Corporate Social Responsibility Manager to continue forging our path to become industry leaders in sustainability. 

Your daily tasks will entail:

  • developing, managing, and updating our CSR policies together with our Operations, Product, and other Printful teams
  • keeping Printfulers informed about our CSR policies and initiatives together with our Internal Communications team
  • working with our PR Manager and Brand teams to talk about our CSR commitments publicly
  • researching and staying up to date on industry CSR standards and benchmarks
  • working with agencies and consultants to measure our environmental impact and set goals to improve
  • leading our internal Green Team and identifying new ways we can be more sustainable at our offices and facilities
  • keeping all Printful departments and facilities aligned on our CSR goals
  • making sure our facilities are working with partners (e.g. waste management solutions) to help us achieve our CSR goals
  • helping HR develop initiatives that support our employees
  • managing sponsorship partners and agreements together with our PR Manager

What we expect from you:

  • good English skills (both written and spoken)
  • knowledge of sustainability best practices and a desire to learn more
  • an understanding of business strategies
  • previous experience in project management, business development, or a similar field
  • excellent decision-making skills and a can-do attitude
  • strong communication and people skills
  • previous experience or education in corporate sustainability preferred

As a CSR Manager, you'll have to set realistic, science-based goals that balance CSR initiatives with our business strategy. We're looking for a natural self-starter with a strategic and analytical mind and a passion for sustainability.
