His first encounter with electronic dance music was at the age of 7, when his cousin was living with him, they had this audio casette, which contained tracks from The Prodigy, it blewed his mind and changed his thinking, understanding about music. Those distorted, sinthetic sounds, samples, basslines and energetic rhythms left his mind twisted.
While everyone else around him liked pop, he was trying to understand and respect the power of EDM. One of Valts dreams was to become a Dj, but it disapeared from his view of range for a long time. As a teenager he allways was outsider because he experimented a lot with all kind of music genres. Underground rap, heavy metal, classic rock and EDM - just to name a few.
Years went, and when Valt hit the bar of 18th year of his life, the chance to rehabilitate his childhood dream became pssible. At his birthday he got a chance to try out Dj gear.Never before he felt so alive.
Valt Libert started to learn about this culture, which gave big thrills to him and people around him. Valt wanted to know everything. He read a lot of web statements about Dj’ing and producing too.
Producing, there were a lot of help from other people. One of them, Ansis Zvirgzdins, he played a big role in Valt Liberts learning curve about harmonic track building.
Happily he’s part of Groove Delicious. Valt Liberts role in this union is to play high quality progressive house, progessive tech tunes which gives natural uplift in venues. Sometimes he plays tech and b2b sets with J.Breeze.
Valt Libert always tries the hardest way, his life is a challange with of upswings and downs. Lately he’s spending a lot of his time in lab, making some harmonic progressive tech tracks.
